I'm going to be fabbing up an aluminum mount for a Spal 5.2" ProAir RC51 fan in place of the cow bell. I saw one that was done before and kinda dig it..👍

That's really interesting. But the specs for that fan say 4amp draw. Is that a bit high? Or no?

I doubt it. That's about 50 watts give or take, which I figure is about the same as a single halogen aux light and even some larger led aux lights.

I have Jason's Fans and they work really well. I had one that rubbed pretty hard against the fins which caused one of the fan to break from all the vibes. Jason rebuilt my unit with new fans very inexpensively. You talk about great customer service, Jason is on top of it.

I installed an Ultracool oil cooler last summer with good results. They have dual fans and are thermostat controlled. Kept the engine temperature controlled per the claims without being obnoxious on the bike.

No..but if you go to the ultracool web site they have a picture gallery that will give you a good idea what it looks like. It comes with a black or chrome vented cover. On my 2003 FXDWG it mounts at the bottom of the frame in the front beneath the voltage regulator. It is a litle different for the softail. Check out the pics.

Well he finally updated his site, and it isn't good:

"New deposits temporarily suspended. I will not be able to ship for at least 6 months, so about the middle of 2017. This is my availability update, please do not email requesting an update. I do not offer a waiting list or individual email notification for availability. When I am able to fill orders I will publish it here and make the deposit form available again. FYI I am not out of business or going out of business, I simply have greater priorities at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience."
