Default 16 FXDL with 117 purchase opinion

Ive got a chance to buy a used FXDL S with 676 miles on the clock 117 kit and 2 into 1 thunder headers with BMC solo seat and blacked out mags for $16,200. Originally 16,999 this was the lowest they would go. Still under factory warranty. Opinions appreciated.

I would ride it and maybe ask why the guy traded it in? Is there something wrong with it or did the last owner just want another bike? If everything checked out ok sounds like a good deal to me. Your basically getting a new bike with pipes and stuff for less then the price of a stock one. Good luck.

I'm with Hollandhunter. I'd want to know why it was for sale. When you're talking about anything but stock; you're buying the competency or incompetency of whoever worked on it. I'd also want to see a parts list and work order; maybe even talk to the "tech" who did it. Find out if they reused the stock lifters or upgraded them and put the stockers in the trash where they belong.

Sounds good if you keep the full warranty.
I see more options, the passenger foot pegs, lower chin spoiler, side cover plate and looks like a different rear fender with the tail light and tag mounted on it.

Had all paperwork with Dyno sheet. Work done by HD in Lubbock. Already got the story on the bike guy that previously owned it had a life changing event in his family and had to get rid of it

Yes sir that is what drew me too it a lot of work went into it. I've got to inquire about the rear fender swap not sure if it was changed for the rear seat.
