Default Combo digital speedo tach won't change colors? Help me

So this is what I have

My wife bought it for me for Christmas. I put it on the other day after linking it to the ecm. Everything on it works and it has been locked to my bike after the thirty miles. Now here is the catch.

I can't get the dam thing to let me change the colors like it is supposed to. In the instructions it says to hold the trip reset button (which is on the back of my riser mounted speedo) and turn to accessory. Then release the trip reset button and it should go into setup mode. Well, it doesn't. It only allows me to change the clock. Any suggestions or hidden resolutions?

6.
See Figure 4. To change color press and hold both turn signals where the current color number will be displayed.

7.
For coarse adjustment, press left turn signal to count down and right turn signal to count up incrementally.

8.
For fine adjustment, press and hold left turn signal to count down and right turn signal to count up.

9.
Once desired color is selected press and hold both turn signals until "SAVED" is displayed.

10.

To change the color for the other three components (dial, tachometer pointer, and display), Toggle over to the color menu by pressing the right turn signal and follow steps 7 through 10.

11.
Once desired setup and colors are finalized, turn ignition switch to the ignition (IGN) position and verify settings (gear indication will NOT appear until vehicle is in motion).

I pulled this from the harley website, I'm actually picking up this gauge tomorrow evening off craigslist new in box so would be nice to help you get this figured out haha

I literally just saw they had one on their site. UGH! $314, I may have to wait. Although I found one that lights up blue, would look sick on my bike. Dilemma...

Thank you.

Thank you.
You can get it from Boardtracker for $256.

OP, I had one on my old FXD. The colors changed for me by following the instructions no prob. Keep trying, or if you are 100% sure you are doing it right, bring it by your dealer. I have a good relationship with mine, they would come out and show me how, no problem. Otherwise bring it back as defective for an exchange.

Great gauge, I loved it.

I have one on my Fat Bob. Changed everything from the controls on the handle bars.
