I agree with those above, they "discontinued" models will show up in a year or two with the M8 and other enhancements. Both models are WAY to popular to remove.

I doubt they will bring out a new model.

Although a sport tourer, ie the Lowrider with a bigger fairing and bags. would sell like crazy.

Something like an FXRS Lowrider Convertible maybe?
An ''upmarket'' model with screen, saddle bags and highway pegs, you could also include the Emulsion shocks too if you want but it's something l'd have seriously thought about when l bought mine.

so you know what you want but, you wil not build it and would instead prefer to pay retail for it?

they will (update the wg) and i will wait years to buy it. Will watch all the recalls and bulletins on issues, then go get one used with no miles. Early adoption is bad business with hd. M8 folks are still dealing with clutch issues. Haven't heard of more but, I'm not following it either.

When the Convertible's were first released in Australia, they were a bargain, only a $1000 bucks dearer than a standard FXRS.
At the time, the parts added were actually a bit less than half of what they would have cost to buy through the parts dept.
Assuming the price structure was similar, it would be the ''bargain'' aspect rather than how much l'd actually use the bags and screen if an upmarket model were available.

Keeping my Dyna though.

All of the Lowrider S models for 17 have already been built and at the dealers. No more to follow.

I hear ya.

I waiting a few years before buying my beemer (Water boxer) to make sure all the kinks were ironed out.

I'll never buy a new Harley.
