You don't need to sand it anymore it will fill all that. The more hardner you use the faster it kicks off so.....Just start sanding from the edges inward. Should be plenty of videos on it. Did you get the light bar? If not I can show you an easy way to fab one up.

Yeah, filler is cheap and easy. It's like a two-part epoxy with the consistency of toothpaste. It sands easy like wood. You spread it on with a plastic squeegee type thing, let it set up, then sand it back.

OK, I ordered up some Bondo, rubber sand block, and assorted sandpaper kit (120-4000 grit). Should be here Tuesday by Amazon. I won't hit it with the sander again. Also, got the 5/16-18 tap, same size as original bolt.

Also, did not get the lightbar because I already had some rear flex LEDs from Custom Dynamics that I had pressed on the shock bodies since forever. However, this may not work out anymore because the wires will be exposed. Let me know your lightbar tip and if you know any cheap place to get kellermans or similar.

UPS says Out For Delivery with my Rocket Bob's order!

Not sure if they have Kellermans, but I like Revival Cycles for Motogadget stuff. Worth a look.

Let me know if you get the little filler plate that goes right behind the rear tire when it shows up. You can cut those mounting tabs off the Badlands unit and it fits perfect in the space below the fuses. All the little thread like wires are to the turn/run/brake lights.(soldered)

I took the case clear off my badlands unit and then ground off half the remaining potting compound. It's probably less than half the original size. About the size of a long match box.

It's got a clock on it now. Replacing it with a Motogadget M-Unit.
