Default T-Sport Fairing Install

Thought id do a quick write up of my fairing paint and install. I bought the fairing from usatrailers on ebay, its was 390 after everything. I still needed to buy a street bob headlight bucket. I could not find one for a decent price anywhere, everyone with a low rider wants the street bob head light. Harley wants 200 dollars for the Stock street bob headlight bucket. In my searching I found this; http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...mp-housing-kit
59 dollars for the LED housing. I have no ideal why the Headlight bicket off a street bob is 200 and this is only 59. The only difference that I have found is this buckets wiring harness has two extra Wires. I have no Idea what they are for I assume something for the LED headlight, I managed to stuff my stock headlight into this housing, and everything works. So if you plan on doing this save yourself some cash and buy this LED housing.

ok, so last night I go my color rite aerosol paint kit. Tested the pain and it seems to match my stock paint fairly well. I mounted the fairing before painting to ensure proper fit. Here are some pics of the mocked up fairing.

Tonight, If I dont have to take my kids bowling, I plan on painting. Ill post up my process once thats done.

FYI, if you need a replacement windshield, check out Rifle.com they make all sizes of windshield just for the T-Sport. I bought the 2" over stock for my '01 T-Sport last yr.

It comes with all the hardware, too? If so, I'm also thinking hard on this fairing for the price. It kills me everyone wants a premium for their fairings...

Is that the Villain2hero one? I feel Tsport repop fairings should have been that much from day one. Can't believe OEM were going for $1,200 for 15 year old beat up junk. And then the repops still selling for $700-$900. Cmon..it's plastic! But I guess you can't argue with supply and demand

Looks like these don't have fork clamps though?

Also bummed they're releasing the Defender bags again haha...pretty sure they're the Big Al's supplier. Now everyone's going to be rocking Defender bags instead of leather pros. That was the only thing that set my bike apart from the rest of the pack! And they've got 3 pics of my bike on their website with no permission....

Yes it comes with all the hardware. They mount to the forks, Ill post a picture of it tonight. The build quality is pretty decent. There is some weight to the fairing and the mounting hardware seems pretty legit.

Can you post a pic of the edge of the fairing to show the thickness? Maybe throw in a quarter for reference. I'd like to see comparison to my JDs. Thanks! I like the mounting hardware more. Looks like four nuts and it'd come right off?
