Since the MoCo discontinued them, what will happen to the resale value?

 

Nothing more than other models that have been discontinued. Don't look for them to become collector's items. I predict they will by worth the same as any other used motorcycle.

Maybe in 40 years or so, just crate it and leave it in your garage. Honestly rake a look around The market is flooded with bikes, first year/last year models,hard to get paint schemes, never mind that Huge run of 03's that are out there. Look at some of the pricespeople want for used bikes some are more than if they were new.

i agree - no value increase. Simply too many of them.

 

The best investment is Harley Stock(HOG), rather then any bikes. The wide glides will contine to depreaciate like all the rest. The best thing about HDs is they hit a floor on depracation where they dont go down any more. A well taken care of HD will always sell for a good amount.

 

no price will i take have rode them all love my wg best bike i ever had.and they will resell good.

 

should stay around the same price, maybe just a little more, i mean just a little. but sooner or later everyone know they will release the wdg again. remember the softail custom when they discontiued it , guess what its back now. my .02. jackyl
