RE: Remap with Vance & Hines slip ons?
I installed the V&H straight shots on my FXDI at 800 miles. I did not notice any problems with the motor. The bike seemed to run OK. At 1000 miles I had the dealer do a stage 1. I am very pleased with the outcome. Good luck and congrats on the bike.

Do you need to do a remap with Vance & Hines slipons with quiet baffles on 07 FXDC.
First Harley and loving it. Kids have graduated so now I have also.

If you really want to optimize your bikes performance and fuel usage, get yourself a Vance & Hines Fuel Pak. The factory remap for my 2006 Dyna was way too rich and only got 36 MPG, about a week or so ago I installed the V&H Fuel Pak. The bike runs and performs alot better and I am now getting 42 MPG, city. The Fuel Pak is well worth the money and it is very easy to go to their web site, look up your application and set the modes accordingly. And if you ever change exhaust you can reset the Fuel Pak to accomodate the changes.
If you have any other questions that I may assist with feel free toPM me, I'd be glad to answer any questions that I can.
