Default ::UPDATE:: need hard bag recommendation for 07 FXDWG

Subject says it all. I'm not really sure what all will fit on my bike, I just know I don't want to drop $1K with HD when I see what I think will fit from another mfg for $250 (the JM http://www.mutazu.com/products.php?c...amp;s=prod.php at Custom Cycles which is local).

Does anybody have an recommendations or advice?

Thanks!

Those Mutazu hard bags sound too good to be true at $250. They have nice styling, but for that price I'd need some reassurance on their durability/quality.

I'm all ears on this one... sorry I'm no help.

Well, they're just up the road from me so I'm going to swing over and check them out this afternoon.

I'll let you know how they are.

The again, you could drop a cool $1500 bucks for the Corbins. They fit and look great, but that amount of cash they should come with a refrigerator for beer.

Picked up the bags last night and they look really good. The only problem I see are the univsersal mounting brackets (for every make and model of bike) aren't going to look as clean as I would like. They recommend going with Ghost Brackets or Easy Breackets if you don't like thiers.

Anyone have experience with either of those?

I'll post some pictures once I get everything installed this weekend (Pipes, AC, and saddlebags).

Update!

Got the bags and the pipes on yesterday, all in all I'm very happy with the way everything turned out.

I'll try to get some better pictures of the bags and mounting hardware this weekend, all in all they were relatively easy to install.

Nice, not for me though. Install looks clean, but those bags look a little too modern for me. If I decide to ever put bags on my WG, I will probably go with leather.
