anyone have a 16" front wheel on FXDWG ?
I'd like to see a pic of an '06-'07 WG with a 16" front wheel. The Fatbob would be cool, but I'm gonna have to keep my WG for several more years (shouldn't be hard-I love this bike!). I'm thinking heritage style fender to keep more rain off of me. I think the increased rake of the WG would look cool with a fat tire. Thanks in advance.

RE: anyone have a 16" front wheel on FXDWG ?
my old '05 FXD with a '86 Sporster 16" rear rim on the front.
I also installed a FL front end.
Choppedthe stock FL fender down.
Installed fwd controls, and mid foot pegs. Lowered 1.5" in front only.
Very little trail .. bike handled well at speed and in the twisties.
Reach seat. Okamoto baffles. Ness BS. Jetted 40mm.

Good thinking on that Sporster turn-around hub. Is the center lined up without the use of spacers? Hit myself in the forehead when I caught myself thinking that it was a lot of work drilling out the rotor for the bolts and turning the spacer for the rotor to accept the 2.10" rotor register. Ya, just use a rear rotor DU!
How did you overcome the dimensions of 3.2545" to center and 3.1015" to center for the rear wheel of a Sportster (& Fl's also). On a single disk wheel (non disk): 3.369" and the disk side is 2.806". Total wheel width is 6.32" (Wideglide front end needed). Did you have to use a spacer between the wheel and rotor in order to center the wheel? good job!
