RE: 1st year for rubber motor mounts?
All Dynas and FXR's have been rubbermounted. I think the first Dynas were in 1992 with the Super Glide. Not sure what the first year Wide Glide with an EVO was, but when ever it was, it was rubbermounted.
If I am not mistaken, HD did make a Wide Glidein the Shovel days that was not rubbermounted, but all of the Dynas will be.

I believe it was 1990, at least that's when the the Dyna specific part numbersstart. I have a 1991 parts book and the numbers only go back to 1990. I love Harley's, but I don't store any trivia. Sorry
There was a Shovel Wide Glide, all the rock stars, wannabe rock stars had one. Didn't H-D bill it as the first factory chopper? I liked the black cherry factory custom with most of the aluminum, including the lower legs all done in the same color.

RE: 1st year for rubber motor mounts?
The Wide Glide was a shovel from early 1980 to 1984. I bought a new 1985 Wide Glide in '86 in Texas that was the first year with the 80 inch Evo engine. Ran it for over 50,000 miles without major work (though I had rewired it and went to points ignition and ran an S&S carb) then sold it a few years ago to a guy from Norway. Awesome bike ... I miss it. My baby.
The Rubber Glide, which we all made fun of when it first came out, was first in a Shovel in the early 80s. The I think the 1984 FXR was the first Evo rubber mount. Damn things looked like a Jap bike back then to us. The Dynas are MUCH cooler-looking, in my humble opinion.
