They make bolts for license plates that will light up the plate.

This is what they look like...at least, what mine look like

 

I have them, but without the plate curvature - so the entire plate lights up in a bluish-white light; very nice.

Nice thread! I have a few to add when I can snap a few pics. DIY cup holder and cell phone/gps case coming soon Anyone fabbed up floorboards for their dyna? I have a cool idea I want to try for the floorboards soon. Need to finish painwork on tins first!

that side mount plate is cool. i did something similar using a old lic plate bracket on my chopper. i need to get some of those lighted bolts.

 

It is a long thread, but so worth it with all of the great ideas. Mine involves the stock pegs and grips. I wanted grip on my pegs and so many seem to be slick. I added a 2" chrome ring or sized to your pegs and a 1941 half dollar. The half dollar is expoxied in place. I get the grip for my feet, yet the pegs are not plain anymore. Cost under $15.
