Default Dual Tach and Speedo Install

I asked at the dealership what the cost of a Tachometer Kit and install would cost. The said it would be about $400. I bought the kit from Zanotti and put it on myself. The kit cost $236 and it took me about thirty minutes to put on. It was real easy with the instructions that came with the kit. I've included links to a couple of pictures.

If you're thinking about having this done, you should do it youself and save some money.

Yeah, thanks Skip, I've always liked the look of the dual gauges. I know a lot of people don't but that's thier choice and mine is to have the duals. I'm going to ride some tomorrow and check what RPM I'm shifting at.

Looks good Mac.

Did you have to run wiring to the ECM or was the bike equipped for the tach?

Glad you didn't have to ride to Doug's to borrow Skip's screwdriver.

Clean looking installation. Looks like it's always been there.

I would gladly have lent it to ya b5mac, but I just listed it on ebay:

"Slightly used Snap-On screwdriver - SDDP61 N0 1... Slightly damaged, only been used as a punch once"

Looks good man. I'm adding mine sometime this winter. Got the tach and the mounting bracket off Ebay for 16.50. Too bad the harness runs 90 bucks from Zanottis. In the end I'll still save myself about 75 bucks altogether.

Do you have the part number handy for that bar clamp? Thats the one I have been looking to put on my bike when I change the gauges.
