Ya... I know know what ya mean about the Bal 1.8 hp loss but I can tune it to make up for the loss, and with my Arthritis it allows me to continue riding with out pain med's which make me tired.. I haven't pulled the wheelyet so I need to measure the hub when I getit off for spacing, it is 5.5 wide but I think it will be a direct bolt up like the deuce... There calling for the 60's next week so It'll be after that..

Well, I sure hope it will fit. I just bought a takeoff duece wheel and tire. The buy it now price was less than the new tire on it was worth, so nothing to lose, although I will be a bit dissapointed if it doesn't fit.

I've had this rolling around in the back of my mind for some time, as the stock spokes are damn near impossible to clean back there, plus the fact that the spokes aren't really capable of withstanding the stock torque long term, much less what I intend to do to it.

I looked into a solid chrome rearrim for my Girlfriends '07 LowRider and HD does not have a solid rim that will fit per the dealer (no cross over from the softails either). They did say that new products get launched in Feb. and it may come out then. I'm looking for an after market rim for now. I put a solid chrome rim on my '03 LowRider. Best thing I did! Easy to clean, etc... Let us know what you find that will fit your '07.

I never liked the spokes, mainly because you need a tube in the tire. The 08 WG'sare a little easier to clean because of the smooth rims.
I actually logged on today to see if I could replace my front wheel with something wider. Not crazy about the skinny spoked wheel on the front of my WG

i just bought a re-chrome duece rear rim off ebay for 300.00,looks awesome.all i have to do is change the axle and bearings to a 1 inch, the dealer sells the kit to change it. then it will be a direct bolt on. if your looking for chrome duece rim, look on ebay, they run between 250-350 in price, better then buying off the dealer for 850.00
