Anybody have one on a Super Glide custom? Turbulence?

 

i have an 05 glide with h.d. quick detach standard height windshield. i got some buffiting but not toobad i put on a tank lift and it got worse but i like the look with the lift so im going to live with it

 

I have the super sport windshield. It's great until about 50 mph. Then my helmet starts shaking like crazy. I'm still trying to figure it out, because it keeps the cold off of me and the wind off my chest. I don't get tired at all when I ride now!

 

I just put one on my 2007 FXDC, and took it for a 200 mile ride today.

Buffeting is real bad to the point that my vision is blurred.
Definately takes the wind off my chest, but a lot more noise, and helmet shake.
Tried it up, and down the forks, but no real difference.
I think it maybe better if it layed back a bit more, but would have to modify the brackets to do that.
With it up at its highest, I can just see over the top of the screen. Thats where HD say it should be. I wonder if they ever ride with these things on to try them.

well I put mine so the headlight cut out is just above the headlight. I hear more sounds... like the suspension clunking over bumbs. Buffeting is there, but not horrible. It takes the pressure off my chest and the cold off... so the benefits outweigh the negatives. I'll take it off when it warms up here for sure.

I only got it for winter riding. I prefer the warmer air to just hit me
