Pullback risers and ape's do not look good at all. Straight risers would be okay.

Hey, Maybe you're right!
This photo was taken a while ago, now I have FXSTC Buckhorns, but I only changed them out for the comfort
Being quite short and all!!

Don't understand why you'd want to do this. If you want your apes further back just slacken off the riser clamps and lean them further back.

I've seen apes leaned back but I don't like the look. I prefer to try to keep them in-line with the front forks, but pulled back maybe an inch or two.

Are those the 4" pull back risers from your original post? Where did you buy them? Any clearance problems?

Do have any more photos of those risers with the wheel straight?

Hi Joe,

Sorry about the time gap of the reply!!

Yep they are the original ones in my post, they are genuine HD FXSTC risers Part #56066-82A. Harley catalogue say they don't fit, but they obviously do

They do come quite close to the dash on my bike, but not close enough to cause any probs!

I do have a photo of them straight but it's too large to load apparently.

I, like you don't like the apes pulled back out of line with the forks - lookskinda weird!!

+1

Try straight risers, they'll come back at ya about 1/2-3/4" for every inch up you go up over stock depending on the angle of your front end. Put 3" domed straight risers on my bob - see pics below and in gallery.

But if you insist on pullbacks be very careful you get enough rise in them so you have enough clearance with the tank - especially a problem if you've installed a tank lift.
