So last week I put a deposit down for a new 08 Dyna Street Bob. I really like the street bob alot in the black denim but am having second thoughts on getting the vivid black in a possibly the Low Rider. If I get the bob in denim black I am not gonna powdercoat everything black or run apes. I am planing on runing a set of drag bars, lowering it, and some exhaust with the fuel management. The more and more I see the Bobs on here it seems like everyone goes for that retro look with them and thats really not me.

I guess what I am asking is for the look I am going for would you rather go with the street bob in black denim or the low rider in vivid black? Thanks for the ideas and help.

Either one would look good. It just depends if you want shiney or denim look......You can do what ever you want to your bike. Just because a lot of other people do something doesnt mean you have to do it. Make it your own the way you see fit.

 

With what your describing I think you should go with the Low Rider also. If your gonna put drag bars on it and not black anything you might as well get the chrome and black engine. IMO.

You have to get the bike that makes you grin a mile wideevery timeyou see it obviously.

Have you considered getting the FXDC ? I wanted chrome, spokes, a FAT tankand a Gloss paint, so I went with it. I have mine set up with a solo seat ala the bob and highway pegs ala the Lowriderincidentally.
