I know its an old question but how do I remove the tank emblems on my denim black bob??

use some heavy fishing string and use it like a saw. then use wd-40 to remove the sticky stuff. use alot of wd-40 and a soft clothso you dont scartch your tank. jackyl

I used a plastic bondo putty knife, and wrapped the end with an old t-shirt. They came right off.

Dental Floss, saw it back and forth pulling away from the tank, so not to scratch the tank, then WD-40 or Goo-off.

I agree with using a hair dryer or heat gun first to soften up the adhesive. After that just use a flat piece of plastic like a credit card or something to get behind the emblem and pry it up enough to get your fingers behind it then pull it off slowly. Clean it up with some adhesive remover like goo gone or my favorite Motsenbocker's Lift Off
