The stealer did my first (1000mi) service and used HD Syn oil. The service was free, included with the purchase of the bike.

I will now do all my own service. Its time for oil change 2 and am wondering what oil you guys are all using? Thanks in advance. BR

 

I'm coming up for my 10K change and I'm absolutely going with a 'premium' synthetic Red Line, Amsoil, Royal Purple, etc.
Seems there's nothing to complain about with these types of lubrication except price(?) and after all the money invested already, it seems crazy not to "spend a little extra for the good stuff",JMO.

You guys can take the time to post the worthless comments, but can't be of any help at all when someone is just simply asking the question of "what are you using for oil".

Im not here to debate oils, or whats the best in one guys opinion. I have a few ideas of what brand I want, however I was just was curios to see what the majority is happy with, or are using.

I personally run AMSOil 20-50 in the engine, AMSOil sever gear in the tranny, and HD F+ in the primary. There is quite a few threads in this forum about this and everyone has their personal preferences, this is a popular one and what I choose.
