Default New Headlight and Shocks - pics

Decided to change from a 4.5" to a 5 3/4" headlight. Loved the old light but really looked out of place with my signal lights moved down below the trees. Needed to move the sigs because they are in the way of the dreaded windshield if/when I use it. Also, last week installed new Progressive 412 12" heavy duty shocks. Lowered the bike about a half inch. Haven't had a chance to test ride either yet.

One of cleanest looking bikes in here! When you get a chance to test ride, let me know if the ride is much stiffer with the new shocks. I want to change my stock seat out for more of a long distance (touring) seat and I could use the extra 1/2", being inseam impaired (5'-8").

Not sure Amish. I had a 4.5" aftermarket on it before. Here are before and after pix for comparison. I'm really not sure what the measurement is on the stock light but I believe it's more than 4.5"

Which 5.75 did you pick up? That's the size I settled on as well, just haven't done it yet. Looks great.

It's the 5.75 x 9 Cobra II from Eastern Performance.

Here is the link:

http://www.easternperformance.com/in...roducts_id=285

It's made by the same company my 4.5" was made by. They are cheap when compared to others but they put out good light and the chrome seems to be very good quality. I've accidentally tapped both of them a time or two either installing or removing them from the bike with the socket wrench and not even a scratch.

I did end up keeping the taller, offset mount that came with my 4.5" light vs. the shorter mount that came with the new one. Either light would have worked fine with my stock mount though.

That's good to know. I thought for sure I would have to purchase another mount just to get it to fit in the trees. But either way I may end up getting a different mount in order to save a portion of my windshield, as I'll for sure have to shave some off to fit the bigger headlight.

I was looking at EP's headlight selection on ebay and that exact light was one of the offerings I was "watching". There was another one that had the widows peak point like your 4.5 light. I can't decide which one I like best.

Lookin' good Bro!I'm interested inhearing what you've got to say about those new Progressivess when compared to the stock shocks once you've ridden on them. Thinking about the 440's & the 812 baloney cuts myself. May be doing wheels next though...not sure?
