It's me again!! I just called HD dealer here in Istanbul and they said they do not know how to install se a/c on my 06 dyna ????? It sounds crazy !!! As a last favor someone pls write down step by step if possible
The instructions come with it but it's very easy. I'd never pay a dealer to install such a thing. You can do it yourself in less than a half hour.

+1. Instructions come with the air cleaner. Very easy to install yourself.I just purchased the same setup. Going to install it myself and take bike to Stealer to tune. I have SE slip-ons/fuel pack and download.

Unfortunately there is only one dealer here. No more inside the whole country. They do re-calibration because it is the computer making this. But I will fight with 'em. If I am buying a brand new Harley they have to know all the things bike needs. As most of you said it has instructions and should be easy to install. In case of problems I ket you know.

Thank you for your nice comments

Good day to you,

I went to the dealer this morning. In order to reach stage 1, I need se a/c kit and a remap as I have se II mufflers already. But dealer told me, they will plug my bike to the computer to search if 2006 wg is determined in their computer for stage 1. Because recently HD is not applyling modifications due to EPA.

So my question is ; I guess 06 1450 cc models can be stage 1? pls enlighten me.....Second, how to install part no 29773-0c ? dealer says they tried for another dyna but they simple could not know what to do with cableswhich have no connectionto new se a/c kit ????? I hope I make myself clear

Your dealer is way out to lunch. Stage 1 a/c is easy, basic replacemnet except for the manifold valve on the plastic casing, just unplug it and tie down the connector behind the new a/c plate. Other than that he instructions are simple. Then go on to the SERT which is a basic hookup, let me know if you need the map, i have a 06 Dyna with no problems. Dont let the stealer do this or even change your oil if they cant help you here. Try and find an INDY who chops HD and theyl halp ya i am sure. good luck

kuleli

I installed my air cleaner last night. Took about 15 minutes. Very easy - instructions included. I spoke to the tech at the dealer earlier in the day and said It was OK to ride it as is, and if it ran rough or backfired then to bring it in. I have the Screaming Eagle slip-ons and HD fuel pack. Took it for a ride and noticed a slight change in acceleration (faster). Bike ran fine. Good Luck
