Howcome none of you guys have ugly inspection stickers messing up your beautiful bike pictures? Does your state not require it? Are you just being a rebel and not displaying it? Where do you put it?

Attached is a picture of the sticker. Got any better ideas?

 

well i am pretty sure Ohio doesnt have one... my is not a year old yet... but my buddies dad has an old Panhead and he doesnt have any inspection stickers, may not pass inspection anyhow it is nice and chopped! but i dont think ohio requires one, someone else should know more!

 

Illinois doesn't require one either. But yeah, I've wondered this too. I'm about to get a parking sticker for my bike to ride to work and I'm not looking forward to sticking it on the bike.

 

Try the back side of the license plate. If you are real **** get a piece of thin black plastic and cut to the shape of the plate and bolt it behind the plate so you have a flat surface to adhere the sticker to.

Yeah, mine's in the same place for NC. I think NC has several places that the sticker can be placed.

 

In NC we have it. On my Fatbob it is mounted on a small plate that is bolted to the frame where the downtubes split. I am having problems finding a good spot for my DOD sticker. Anyone got any good ideas for the Dyna??????

NY state requires a yearly inspection, the sticker is supposed to be placed on the left fork lower. I think you don't see many in pics. because the stickers are mostly on the left side of the bikes and most people post pics. of the more exspensive right side.

 

We have to have them and we have to display them. There is just no rule about where. You can see where the dealer put mine just under the neck in the pic below. At least they let us have chrome inspection stickers here. I've seen the same dealer put them elsewhere on other bikes though.

The great state of Louisiana hasn't figured out how to put the glue on the back of the sticker so they staple them to your registration instead.
