If so, what are your thoughts/observations on the fit, function and look?

 

Honestly, I hate it [:'(]........it was the first or second helmet I ever bought and it just doesn't work for me.....had for about 4-5 years now and haven't worn in about 4-5 years!

 

DAMN IT! Online, it looks like it would be pretty decent. I NEED to find something other than my stock HD DOT one! WAAAAY to friggen BIG! It has to be DOT approved (USAF regulation), but I wish I could find something smaller, that looked decent...

I have the black one with the yellow and orange flames with blue pinstriping. Only thing better is no helmet. I wear a handkershief so as to keep it for stinking and helps keep me comfortable.

The NXT is my favorite helmet. I have the carbon fiber one.

 

I've been wearing one for 5 years. I've had a few other helmets in the mean time but this one was the one that i keep coming back to. It definitely has less of a "Kazoo" look to it and is for the most part comfortable. Definitely try one on vs ordering online only. WHen i got mine the store I bought it from didn't have all the NXT sizes. I got a large and ended up having to put some double sided tape and a foam insert on each side of the helmet to get the sides to fit right. Front to back is perfect. I think they actually now have in between sizes like "medium-large" which is probably what i needed in the first place. While they're a bit pricey for the most part its worth it. I have 3 friends with them and all have been wearing them for years.

 

These are the times I wish I had more choices then what Minot "middle of friggen nowhere", ND has tooffer. Growing up close to Laconia, and close to cities, it's hard to get used to not having the option of going to look at EVERY and ANYTHING I want, before I go online to do it...
