Default 08 street bob front signals on forks?

What are you guys using to relocate the front turn signals to the forks on the 08? The Harley dealer, kuryakyn and drag specialties say that the 06/07 street bob turn sigal reloator kit wont fit the 08. What has changed? I think the fork diameter is the same so why wouldn't the type of clamps that go around the forks work? Is it something i can modify or is it a wiring issue. Thanks ahead.

Check mudpuddle under fifty bucks mods. there is a way to use part from where sigs attaches under mirror to screw it to fork screw.

Get the Kuryakyn kit that fits 49mm forks, because even on an 08 thats what you have. Remove the sigs from the pods and pull the wires. Youll need to replace the 5/16-18 bolt in the relocation kit with 5/16-24 bolt to fit our blinkers. You can get the wires to the proper length, cut them and then purchase new pin connectors from the dealer to redo the plugs (or however else you choose to do it) They probably just havent updated the books for the 08s but you definately have 49mm forks.

Here is a pic of my signals mounted to the lower tree using the ball mount receptacle from when they were bar mounted. You will need two of these and the holes will need to be drilled out a little so the pinch bolts will fit through them. I think I have a pair left already drilled. If you need them, shoot me a PM.
