I have a 2008 dyna superglide custom what are the best ways to make the bike faster and more peppy?
Powder coat! The more powder coating you get done the faster it'll be, seriously.

Really, how much are you willing to spend?
Start with a Stage 1....peppy
Then just because...Stage 2...fast
Addiction has set in...Stage 3..Real Fast and Peppy!

I almost forgot, paint it Black!

Default Faster

Grew up on big jap bikes so when I bought my 08 FXSTC and took it for a spin I thought I would die it was such a dog. Bad news, lots of money to fix. Good news, add a hyper charger, master tuner, Rush ceramic coated true dual exhaust, 106 S&S pistons, 580 S&S compression relief cams, 50 mm throttle body with Screaming Eagle injectors, Screaming Eagle compression heads that have been ported and polished, a 30 tooth Andrews primary drive pulley, and a great mechanic, and you should have all you need. Over 90 HP and 107 torque. Unfortunately as others have stated, you need to spend about $8000.00 but its worth it cause NOTHIN sounds or looks like a Harley. Ride strong my friends.

Your first post and you dig up a nearly 3 year old thread and give out bad info to boot.

I had the 103" build done to mine along with stage lll upgrades and some of the stuff you mentioned above to include a 2 into 1 Bassani Road Rage pipes, dynoed all for about $3,500 at our local dealership this past summer.

My numbers are 105 hp 107 tq.

If you truly spent $8K on the above you got ripped BIG time! For $8K you could have gotten the HD 120R Race Engine that puts out over 140 HP and still have a lot of change left over for other upgrades.
