Default Checking front brake fluid need some help

I wanted to know if the wheel should be straight when checking front brake fluid.

I think its going to depend on theposition of the master cylinder as mounted on your bars. I would turn the forks so the fluid in the master cylinder is as level as possible.

Turn your bars to full left lock on the kickstand. This should have your brake res basically level.

Generally, handlebars to full left with the bike on the jiffy stand. Cover the gas tank and fender so that if any brake fluid gets on them, they will be protected somewhat. Dot 3 brake fluid will play havoc with paint.
