Thanks for the info.&nbsp\\; I HATE my standard issue pipes and wanted to go with the Big Radius at first.....but I heard them in YouTube video, I think they're just too loud. I dont think you can get the quiet baffels on those either. &nbsp\\;Then I saw yours, and I like how it looks.&nbsp\\; I went to YouTube and heard a set a guy had on his, but&nbsp\\; the sound quality&nbsp\\;in that&nbsp\\;video wasn't the best. I like the clean lines and the slashed&nbsp\\;ends on yours.&nbsp\\; I also likedthe Big Radius looks, but they're just too loud.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I'll have my HD dealer put them on over the winter along with everything that's needed, and maybe even have it dyno'ed. Where did you get your pipes from if you dont mind me asking.&nbsp\\; I see them in magazines and catalogs, and I'm sure I could get them through my dealer, but if you got them at a good price, please share.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Again, thanks.

Go with the DYNA the sporty is a great ride but&nbsp\\;The Dyna is that and then some.
The dyna is great in town and also awsome on the highway.&nbsp\\; If you can find a 07
wide glide go for it.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;The dyna is a truly awsome ride you can strip it down/barhopper
or load it up for the long&nbsp\\;haul.

Default Fat Bob over Sporty for sure...

Had a '96 Sporty that over the years was customized just right, including upgraded 1250 jugs. Took a ride on a 103ci Fat Bob, bought it and can barely get back on the Sporty. No question the Dyna's far more comfortable on long rides, but it also handles hair-pin turns like sugar; forward controls provide nice leg stretch and handlebars are perfect reach. If you're considering either one, go for the Fat Bob - and if you're a novice the extra 250 pounds quickly turn to jello.

Nice to see that this thread is still alive 7 years later...the OP has probably been through 3 more bikes by now. I have 2 softails and a Wide Glide...in the market for a nice, low mileage Sporty like the one that Sandy drowned....

I have an 883L, as well as an FXDL. The 883 handles better and is much better on gas, while the 103-powered Dyna has a smoother ride and more power.

Maybe he took off on a dyna and liked it so much he just kept on going..Forrest Gump style. Or maybe he is in a retirement home now. Haha
I love when people bring up these old threads. I actually like reading them.
