Hey. Couple of things. Bike is a 2007 Street Bob
1. Where can I buy chrome rear fender supports.
2. I put on prog. 412s 412-4037c and adjusted to the highest setting.I weigh 195 lbs and every bump I hit I bottom out and the fender smashes into the belt gaurd. Did I buy wrong shocks? I want lower cause I'm only 5'6". Do I need to buy a heavy duty spring?

Thanks,
Don

You said highest setting, so the shock is fully extended?

Since you went with an 11" shock I would suspect that you will bottom out, if I am not mistaken that is 1.5" shorter than stock, big difference, you may need some other mods to make that work smoothly, I stuck with stock height on mine so not sure what may be involved. I would think on the highest setting (5) it would be one damn rough ride and not bottom out like you describe. I have HD412's and riding single on anything more than a 3 is bone jarring.

You prolly wanted to get the Heavy Duty. I'm about 190lbs. and ride the HD's on the softest setting. Only bottom out in giant pot holes. The ride is nice and stiff. The stock shocks on a bob are 12" so you only lowered 1".

usually when you drop anything over 1 in you will have to remove the belt guard
