Nevermind, I found a pdf on Metzler's site. They recommend a minimum 5.5" rim width for the 200/60R16. I don't think that would be a safe tire to run on the factory rim.

That would definityly help. Another poster had said they had 4.5 which I thought narrow for a 180. I checked the HD site but all they give is Diameter in the specs I found.

I think I'd be OK with spooning on a 200mm onto a 5".

How did the ride/handling change?

I have searced and found conflicting info... Guess you didn't notice, maybe beacuse your drunk, that I resurrected this thread that had the perfect title for what I, and others are looking for on this subject.

Besides the info you give is obviously not on stock rims....I'm sure we'd all like to see some photos of your setup though.... perhaps when you sober up you can post some??
Sorry if a bit harsh

Default 200's RULE!!!

Love my 200!!! No handling issues. Using a stock rim may require a belt pulley spacer. My RC Comp. wheel did not need one. Bolted right up. Just had to relocate the rear turn signals so the wires would not rub.
