I bought some clear vinyl sheeting from Aerostich that works great. Cut it to size, lay it down on your fender, put the seat on. The vinyl sheet sticks to the fender and doesnt budge but when you want to take it off you just peel it off and reuse it the next time you use a two up seat. Ive been using this for a while now, no scratches, no tape no fuss...

Two layers of duct tape. Goes on and off easy. Cheap too.

I use a product called moleskin. Its in the foot care aisle at the drug store. Felt on one side and adhesive on the other side. Cut to fit and attach the adhesive part to the bump outs on the seat. Check it every month or so cause hot days can loosen the glue a little.

It's cheap and have never seen a scratch on my fender.

I use a magnetic sheet, like the stuff refrig. magnets are made of. Think it's vinyl with magnetic center. It's flexible so lays down nicely to prevent scratches on fender.

Try a fender bib...HD and Mustang each have a vinyl one that some forumites have testified work great on their bikes. And of course there's plenty of custom leather guys out there making them if you want something snazzier than vinyl for when you're rocking the solo saddle.

Harley is making a permanent-mount one-up luggage rack for dyna now. There's a pillion that attaches to the rack, and a sissy bar that attaches to the pillion. I was thinking about getting a rack anyway, so this could be a great solution.

When they make it a removable rack with option of attaching the pillion, I'll buy it.
