Default Any1 put a Wide Glide front end w/a rake on a SG?

Has anyone put a Wide Glide conversion kit on their Super Glide that has a rake to it, say 3 or 5 degrees. If so, what year is your bike? Have you had any problems with stability ? I currently have a mid-glide with zero rake that I put on a few years ago, now I want to go with a Wide-glide front end with a rake, I just love the look. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Word I have is handling gets a little touchy at high speeds, but nobody seems to think its excessive. It kicks the front wheel out about an inch and definitely looks better. Rake/Trail are right on the borderline

Not 3 or 5 but 2 degrees using OEM WG trees on my 07 SB and it rides/handles awesome. Love the look of the wider trees with the shorter tubes. Where in Mass. are you? Im in Spfld. you could look at mine

Hey Muddy, I'm in Brimfield, not far from you! I have mids on mine, so I know the look, I was more interested in how a 3 degree rake affects trail and handling. But thanks for the offer!

Hey Rounder, love the look of your bike. Can you provide me with some more info? What year is it? What degree rake do you have? Have you lowered the rear end also? Any stability or wobbling problems, particularly at higher speeds?

Thanks!

05 superglide custom
I have 11" shocks
the front is a stock 05 wideglide front
I used the progressive lowering kit on the front and lowered the wideglide tubes 2"
21" front wheel
zero handling and stability issues (never been over 85 though)
my angle finder shows my fork tubes to be at 33º where stock the bike showed 28º
I believe there is 2º or 3º in the trees.
