Check out Carolina Leather Works . I do have set of there bags and like them, Local made in NC and the price is better than most. They make throw overs and bolt on's. If you go to the other v-twin forum you can se them at the fxr site at the top of the page where there asking to see your bike. Page 16 #234. These are only 120 dollar bags. Good bags.

I got the River Road Bags....

They Look really Nice, Can't tell they are synthetic leather....

I got mine off Ebay for like $80 buks shipped, got a deal....

I got them because they looked a little more retro than the willie max bags,
and i think they had an extra quarter or half inch on the dimentions...

keep in mind you still need to secure them to the bike, currently i just use
some velcro strips... but others us the standard bag bars, but i didn't want to leave
the bars on my bike.

i have 2 sets of RR bags... one set fits between the stock turn signals and the shocks. they are really small and wouldnt fit much in them. so i went a different route.

i bought another set that is larger, relocated my signals, and put some easy brackets on the back, with fiberglass on the inside for support.

i bought both sets of bags off ebay... one was new (smaller ones) and the larger were used. the simulated leather is of good quality, hard to tell its fake. the bags are very stiff when new, but break in good. if your looking for cheap bags you cant go wrong with River Road.
