Rat rod flame job
Hello everyone, It's time for me to start thinking of a winter prodject.
I'am trying to do some reserch on old school paint jobs, I have a street bob in flat balck
and I think it would look good with a little flame job on the tank and rear fender, not a over kill but enough to look good and stand out.
Has anyone tried this and have any advise? I pulled up some old rat rod pic's from the fifities and they were done on flat black paint with flat red paint flames. can you paint the flat flames on over the factory paint and coat with a sealer or somthing, let me know i 'am sure there is a pro painter out there with some good advise.
Thanks Eno

if you are rattle canning it... if you hold your can far away from your surface when you clear it will give you a matt look... Dulpli color sells a mat clear... as far as old school paint jobs...
