You should powdercoat them red/orange just in that area.

thanks i was going to paint the pipes black and leave the flame portions chrome but it got to cold to paint have to wait til spring

Freebyrd....pipes look good...I'm partial to flames but TOO COLD???!!!! You're in Fresno...how about those members that are already in the snow...now thats cold!!!

oh i'm gonna do it masking off the flames and creating a template for the mufflers so they can have some chrome flames showing through the black is just going to take some time is all, and a nice run of 70 to 80 degree non windy days all i have is a drafty garage to paint in so conditions have to be just right

could paint inside the home... smell will be gone in a day.
