Thank you
Can you?..........I suppose its possible to jam one on there but ask yourself should you? Answer to that is no, to begin with they don't currently offer an 888 in that size. Looking at an Avon Cobra for example - specified wheel width is 6.0" - 6.50". If you want wider, there is a HD branded Dunlop GT502 in 180/60-17 that is rated for your stock 4.5" wheel.

None of those are right, your wheel is only 4.5" wide and those will need at least a 6.0" wide rim. Installing one of those will pull the sidewalls in past their desgin specs making the contact patch small, the handling worse and it will run hotter and wear out faster. Either put the right size tire on there or get the 180 Dunlop that is rate for that rim. Big tires aren't always better.

I Have a rim off a 07 fatboy that I was given and I want to put it on my 09 street bob. What would I have to do to make it fit. I would prefer to keep the stock swingarm is possible.

I have pics in my album that shows what I had to do. The bike is an '07 Street Bob with an '07 Fat Boy rear wheel. Your caliper is different from the '07 so you may not need to modify it. I even used the wider '07 Street Bob belt. You will need the wider 1 inch bearings. They will protrude from the wheel a little. Make new spacers to center the wheel.

Turns out the wheel is a late model Fat Bob so its a straight swap.

Default Offset ?

Ok folks been a while since I've jumped on this site (or my bike) it had been at the harley dealer since Friday. The 200mm tire and 5.5 inch rim are IN and BALANCED.

(RIM ORDERED FROM RIDEWRIGHT)

Today they were trying to mount the rim & called saying it is off to the left about a 1/4 therefor they cannot mount it.

Stock fender has a mm of clearence on each side. But up and down will be ok.

Can anybody give me suggestions on why it is offset to the left (will be going to dealer tomorrow) thanks in advance

I just finished up the 200mm rear tire on my 08 Dyna. It actually turned out to be very easy conversion. I used a 200 tire (Michelin) and 2008 Night Train disc wheel (17x6) combo. It mounted up perfect on the break side using original spacer/break assembly. The only modification I had to do on my pulley side was to trim the wheel spacer off about a 1/4". I have perfect alignment and clearance on both sides of the tire. I had to clean all wires and inner strut supports from the stock fender. Tire fits in fender perfect with no rubbing what so ever. I will try to post some pics of the process. Hope it helps anybody wanting to do a 200mm conversion on late model Dyna.
