200mm rear tire on Street Bob
#151
I just finished up the 200mm rear tire on my 08 Dyna. It actually turned out to be very easy conversion. I used a 200 tire (Michelin) and 2008 Night Train disc wheel (17x6) combo. It mounted up perfect on the break side using original spacer/break assembly. The only modification I had to do on my pulley side was to trim the wheel spacer off about a 1/4". I have perfect alignment and clearance on both sides of the tire. I had to clean all wires and inner strut supports from the stock fender. Tire fits in fender perfect with no rubbing what so ever. I will try to post some pics of the process. Hope it helps anybody wanting to do a 200mm conversion on late model Dyna.

I went to Harley dealer they wanted to charge me $5000 just to get a 200mm - i went to a custom shop called West Side Custom they wanted to charge me $8000 lol these *** holes in Australia are rip off merchants I wished i was in the US of A so i could get a 200mm mod done on my bob
I am so confused why Harley put really skinny tires on their bikes - these are supposed to be bikes for big tough guys lol.

I don't get why its confusing, you take a stock SB or SG, relocate the signals, install a 17x6 or 18x6 wheel on your stock hub, make sure your wheel alignment is right and its done. I'd suggest the Avon Cobra as they are slightly narrow than some others - the clearance isn't huge but nothing will rub. The Avon will measure out at 190mm on a 6" wheel.
