200mm rear tire on Street Bob
#161
I went to Harley dealer they wanted to charge me $5000 just to get a 200mm - i went to a custom shop called West Side Custom they wanted to charge me $8000 lol these *** holes in Australia are rip off merchants I wished i was in the US of A so i could get a 200mm mod done on my bob
I am so confused why Harley put really skinny tires on their bikes - these are supposed to be bikes for big tough guys lol.

Hi there. I just saw your post about your 2015 street Bob. It should be even easier to put a 200 on your set up. The SB went through a few rear fender changes since my 08. If your 2015 is like the 2012 clearance will not be a problem what so ever. The fender assembly is much wider then mine. If the 2015's still have the 25 mm bearings just look for a 2008 and up Stock Harley wheel that will except a 200 mm tire. (17 x 6) I know they put them on Night Train and Cross Bones from the factory. I even think the Cross Bones is a (17 x 5.5) wheel. All you will need to do it is work with your spacing on both sides to get the wheel center. It's really that easy. Look on ebay for the wheel/tire I picked mine up for $250. I think I have $350 in the conversation.

There are a lot of guys in Australia with Street Bob who have installed 200mm rear tire right on their OEM 17" x 4.5"
I'm getting it installed tomorrow fingers crossed !!!
Even a spare parts guy at the dealership told me his best friend also has a street bob and he did the same thing just installed the 200mm on his 2014 SB without having to use spacers or modding anything but it's really tight under the mud guard.
I checked my mud guard clearance and it seems the left side under the mud guard has more space than the right side of the mud guard - maybe my 180mm tire wasn't installed perfectly straight by the mechanic at the dealership.

Good news guys - I've just installed 200mm rear tire on my stock OEM rim no spacers ruequired and it fits right under the mudguard
But it looks like 180mm rear tire because the stock rim is only 4.5" so i am going to the dealershp tomorrow to buy a 17x6" or 17x6.5"

Whats the point? I'm guessing just for looks? My low rider handles as good as I would want any cruiser to. You already have the Pan if you need to drag your knees... Unless the wide tire does something for you in the bush, but I doubt you're off-roading it.
So I'm curious what it buys you? (I'm not trying to be disparaging, I'm honestly interested in what it does for you)
