Still waithing on the V&H pipes and was wondering. Should I go with the screamin eagle AC or should I go with KuryK or someone like that? What AC do you think would look and perform well while still keeping the Bobber look? Anyone waiting on Vance & Hines pipes knows you have lots of time to wonder........mmmmm

 

you can get the screamin eagle a/c and get a cool cover fir it. azece.om has some cool ones.

 

Got my V&H pipes in 3 days, already have HD stage 1 A/C.

Put the paper philter back in the box, and put a K&N philter on there instead.

Then your looks issue is down to what to replace the phootball with. Simple cap like tb2377, wiff & others, or go with a round cover. Which, BTW, can be had in wrinkle black if you look hard enough.

 

go to h-d and get the SE backing plate for around $20, then pay around$40 for the k/n filter. top it off with an early cover.

Any idea what the K&N part number is for the Screamin' Eagle replacement PHilter? All I saw on their website were stock replacements. THANKS!

It's HD-0800.

 

Some claim K&N A/C to be the best with their little velocity stack. I second the SE with custom cover suggestion with just K&N filter.

EDIT: Even though there appears to be some conflict regarding K&N's application list, the general consensus (in this and other threads) seems to be to go with the 0800.
