Check out the Fulmer AF-V2. It's a 3/4 helmet. I bought mine at the Triumph dealer for $69 bucks. Try one before buying there sizing run tight. Dot approved.

I have the carbonfiberhelmets.com non-dot beanie and think it's pretty nice.

In an email from them, they say it passes all DOT tests except the puncture test which involves dropping a weighted spear straight down on it.

I figure if I'm getting speared like that, my neck is probably going to snap anyways.

I was able to pick up a DOT version for my brother and it is very nice also. Just a tiny bit more padding inside which is enough to get a DOT rating.

We also get a 10% discount for being forum members...mention it when ordering.

I run the VOSS gloss black german style. It's non dot but it's really light and comfortable and only cost $30. I've had it for almost 2 years and it's holding together fine and i haven't got hasseled for it. I wear it about 1/2 of the time, and the other 1/2 i have a HJC full face that i wear when it's cold or when i'm going on the freeway somewhere.
