Default Question about FXDC sidecover

I like the "Super Glide" script on the FXDC right sidecover. If I wanted to get one of those for my FXD, would I have to order the whole thing, or is the chrome strip with the script on it a separate piece with its own part number?

It's a seperate piece, might want to contact your dealer for a p# as it isn't listed in HD's catalog. Might want to check ebay or ask around here to see if anybody has one they would sell.

Will do. Thanks.

(Is that piece affixed to the sidecover with nuts and bolts, or is it stick on with adhesive?)

Yeah, I think I will. Even when you add shipping, the $53.04 total from Zanotti beats the 10% off I get on parts at my dealer--especially after almost all the 10% discount gets eaten up in sales tax.
