WS6 Formula. I know this is an old thread but I'm curious to know how the constant tension clamps you installed are holding up?

Eight years later and still no issues, same type clamps as the factory ones used on the external line between the tank output and fuel rail.

Now if only we can get an aftermarket company to start making metal fuel pressure regulator housings we would be in good shape!

So I'm experiencing the half tank won't idle, full tank runs fine symptoms. After reading about the symptoms, I'm pretty sure I've got a pin hole in my in tank fuel line. In the next few days I hope to drain some gas and listen for the spraying of fuel in the gas tank.

But I was curious; for those who have experienced the pinhole problem, at what mileage did the problem occur? I have a 2012 Street Glide with about 43k on the clock. Seems a bit premature to me, but maybe not.

I had a line fail on my 02 RK fail at 25000 and 07 egc fail at about 45-50K. The RK had the line from the bottom of the tank fail and the EGC from line from the pump to filter failed. They seem to find a place to rub through.. At that mileage replace your filter.. I used stock style replacements but split the old lines and covered the new with the old. Held the old in place with zip ties.

Just made it home from New Mexico with a hole in the line ... going to start gathering parts and see if I can fix it ... had anyone been told to also replace the fuel pump at the same time because they "age together" ?? I've been reading this thread and only see the fuel filter mentioned .. Thanks !!

Pump is pretty reliable

Change out the sock / regulator / filter...., and of course the plastic hoses to submersible rubber

Need clamp type hose clamps..., worm gear are too big to fit through the check valve hole
