Default Repairing denim paint.

Fixing Denim Paint.
Buying an 07 street bob with black denim paint.
The previous owner had put custom pin striping and later chose to remove it. In the process the paint was lightly scratched.

Is there any way to repair the denim paint?
we are leaving on friday to look the bike over and hopefully purchase.

In a word no, there is no way to repair Denim paint. That's why I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You can re paint it but Harley made that color just different enough that it's damn near impossible to find a matching rattle can outside a Harley dealer.

my powdercoater says you can repair flat powdercoat with 800 sandpaper, just sand the scratch. I don't think this will work on denim. Good thing about denim is you can get a can from H-D for 20 bucks, sand the area, mask off and shoot. Don't need to blend in like a gloss paint. Should look good as new provided you did good surface prep and coated with light coats.
