Default Front fork oil?

The manual says use only HD oil.

What fork oil\weight do you use?

Whats the difference in weights.... The thicker the harder the ride?

I wanna tighten it up a bit so should I go with a heavier oil like 30W?

Thanks, Naz

I have progressive standard length springs and 20W oil in mine.

Rides a bit stiff, I was thinking of changing out the oil for a lighter weight.

I used the SE fork oil. Stiffened up the front a bit. Not sure what weight it is though, but it did exactly what your wanting it to do.

stock is 10W. If you want to stiffen it up a bit I would go with HD SE oil or a 15w. I run BelRay 15z in mine with progressive lowering springs. 20w will probably be pretty harsh.

The manual would also tell you to only use Harley Davidson gasoline if Harley Davidson sold gas. I'm using Amsoil oil in everything.

Shock Therapy Suspension Fluid #10 Medium (STM)
Formulated for fade-free dampening and smooth rebounds in high-performance applications. https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/stm.aspx

Pouring in HD SE today, based of positive recommendations here. First, finish installing my new chrome lowers.

Heavier weight oil will increase rebound, so if your front ends feels "bouncy" (poor rebound) increase wt of oil.
