There was a thread a while back on customized SUPERglides.. June of 2007..
Butt, most of the images are gone now, due to the Forum Crash last year.......

So I am starting a new one for
PERSONALIZED SUPERGLIDES.

All Dynas are either SUPERglides, or, factory customized SUPERglides.

Discuss and show your personalized SUPERGLIDES.

there's another thread for the other Dynas....

Joe, last week I'm on the interstate, pulled over by one of those stealth cops.

First question - that thing have a speedometer??

Yessir.

Does it work??

Yessir.

You were hitting 95.

Yessir, sorry about that.

License and insurance card please.

Says 2006 SuperGlide here.

Yessir, it's an 06.

WHAT HAPPENED to it??

I like to build sh it, sir.

So, he proceeds to circle my machine for about ten minutes.

The VIN gonna match these papers??

Yessir, the numbers are on this side.

What kinda exhaust is that??

Vance and Hines, sir.

How loud is it??

I don't know, want me to start it up??

Yeah.

then after about a second and a half -

Shut it off. Yeah, it's loud.

Where's the mufflers??

The baffles are inside, sir.

Law says mufflers, not baffles.

I can't see your license plate sticker.

What's it say??

November, sir.

Well, I can't see it from here.

As another five minutes of lecture proceeds, I am tabulating the damage.

Tickets in Tejas ain't cheap.
150-200 for each infraction.
I figure I'm at about 7-800 already.
The stealth cops here pride themselves on multiple infraction incidents.

So, then he hands my paperwork back to me,

and says -
"you need to slow it down a bit".

no tickets.... zero.

Here's some pix of my 06 SuperGlide Joe:

In June of 2008, I personalized the 88 motor for the second time.
......88 inchs......to 95......to 121 inches

I am very pleased to see this thread get started. I am going to enjoy seeing people's Super Glides. Mine is still mostly stock since I have only had it a little over a month. I have added the Motherwell rack and a lay down plate and moded my original grips. And "mudd", to see you have a Super Glide makes me feel realy realy good.

I really don't think my bike is all that much custom but here's some of the best pics I have starting with the stock pic.
