Default Comfortable Long-Range Seat for Street Bob

Hi all,

I've recently bought a HD brawler seat for 08 Street Bob. I can comfortably ride for 1-1.5hr before the "pain in the butt" becomes unbearable.

Can anyone recommend a comfortable single or double seat that's good for at least half a day of riding. (5-6 hours, painfree). The seat must also look good as I am in the process of customising and don't want the seat to detract from the overall appearance.

Thanks
Vlad

I have the MUSTANG wide vintage solo on mine and it is the best one i found yet. Tried a few different seats including the Harley touring seat and had the same problem you are having so decided to bite the bullet and buy the MUSTANG and im glad i did.

Corbin Hollywood Solo is as good or better than any I've ever owned. Not to say it's the best, just better than any I've owned.

I agree, the Mustang vintage solo seat is very comfortable. I had one on my Sportster and it allowed me to do a little over 1000 miles in one day with no sore *** syndrome. Got one for my Street Bob now for longer rides. The only thing I can say that I don't care for about it is that it sits you up higher by about an inch.

The best seat for the dollar is the Mustang, My friend just purchase one in Daytona and he love it. He can ride all day and not have hurt butt. I like Corbin seats, but the price is way to much for the seat. The HD seats are no good forget about them. Just my two cent.

good looks , all day comfort... Mustang tripper solo. My favorite seat if you strickly ride solo is the mustang fastback seat. The picture of the fastback is Last Saint's 04 lowrider. I hope he does not mind me showing you this. I often wonder why more people don't run the fastback seat if they only ride solo. I have the solo seat and pillion for solo and two up riding.

You can take your stock seat to somewhere that will put a better foam in and recover the seat. Took mine to Bar Enterprises, had the foam replaced with memory foam, and recovered with leather. Cost about $150, and it's much more comfortable than it was before.

I like the Corbin. Once it gets broken in you can ride all day and not worry about it.

I run a C&C Fastback with removeable backrest and it is very comfortable. The passenger part works to haul someone across town but not for any distance. The drivers backrest and passenger seat works great to use a bag on when needed as well.
