Rustoleum (or other brand) Truck Bed Liner painted on my SG rims?
Hey guys,
I've been giving thought to painting my super glide rims with the truck bed liner. Its tough, durable, and looks good so I figured I'd give it a shot.. but I go to thinking..
This stuff is pretty thick, and potentially heavy, right? When I go to get these rims mounted, will the weight of the bed liner paint throw off the balancing of the new tires put on? Will the weight be significant enough to do that? Probably a dumb question, but figured I'd ask before I go ahead and do this..
Thanks guys!

That's a real good possibility... may make the rims/tires impossible to balance properly if its' too thick.
There's some new stuff in a rattle can.... but I can't remember who makes it..... I would think out of a rattle can would be a bit thinner.
****.... just re-read the subject line...... 8| ... doh!

that stuff is great. ive used it on atv racks and other stuff. just used it on a motherwell fender rack that i had to customize to fit around my taillight. its tough as nails and goes on easy. as long as you spray it evenly, and not to thick, i dont think you will have a problem with the weight.
