It's a laydown replacement for the big red rocket out back...Kury makes one, but this one doesn't say if it's theirs or not, and it's about 1/3 the cost of the Kury. This one's the smoked variety without the clear plate illumination window on top...p/n 2010-0427. Crap or not?

I don't care that it's just the lens....I don't need an LED tail out back...the stock bulb is plenty bright.

 

you will probably have to use thier or another led bulb. (heat issues)

It is not as bright as the big red one, but i haven't been hit as of yet...

 

This is the one. Comes with an LED bulb plug and play. I'm happy with it and the price is right.

The lens looks great but the bulb they give you don't shine any light on the plate!In most states the plate must be lit up to be legal and pass inspection.There are LED bulbs that will light up the plate & the law don't say what color it has to be.
