Ok guys, I recently replaced my handlebars and decided I want to ditch the stock front turn signals. However I found a small strip with 3 led's that I want to install in place of the turn signals. The led's are a two wire hook up (1-power, 1-ground) is it possible to hook these up to the stock wiring? Has anyone done something similar?

You can do it , but depending on the year of your bike if it is a newer one with a comp you will be getting some code comming up .

 

My local shop is installing front, back led strip blinkers and brake light can be done on the new HD’S just need a load equalizer.

 

JRK has it done to his. I think he has 5 led light strips on the trees

 

yes... ditch the purple wire... that is your running light... you will loose a front running light but you will have turn sigs... if you really want a running light put a resister on the purple line to dull it down, then bridge that with the power for the turn (can not recall what color off hand) ground goes to ground... i said screw the running lights i hate that look at night... i have fogs on the front so they can see me just fine!
