What is the max weight limit of a passenger if I weigh 190, for StreetBob?

 

On my bike there is definately a weight limit for passengers.

 

When the tire blows, she's too big!

 

Thought I remembered reading somewhere that the load capacity is around 350lb. If your 190, then you passenger I would guess should be only 160.

 

I came up with 261 pounds... I may be wrong because your accessories have to be ducted from the 261..

I used the info from page 33 in the owners manual took weight as shipped from the factory 634 pounds and subtracted that figure from the GVWR figure which is 1085 pounds the the subtracted figure is 451 pounds. You said your weight was 190 pounds, I subtracted 190 from 451 and ended up with 261 pounds.... The rear axle GAWR can support 695 pounds, so your within specs for your weight.. you still need to figure in your accessories in the rear..Also, there's a typo in the manual.. Any one reading this please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong wouldn't the first time I was wrong... lol

 

If you have to ask this question you're riding the wrong kind of HOG.

 

ZERO. The bob is a solo ride and should stay that way. If you want to ride 2-up get a Wide Glide and trash the bob (it's a bad bike anyway). Ha, ha, ha. Hopefully, one less bob owner.[sm=badbadbad.gif] One down, I wonder how many more to go.

I am pretty sure it depends on where the weight distribution is? if she is top heavy then you are ok but if she is bottom heavy then you could run in to problems.

 

I like mine TOP HEAVY...LOL... so if someone says to haul a$$... I don't need to make TWO TRIPS....LOL[sm=biker2.gif]
