i put a pcv and a heavy breather on and bessides some decel popping it was fine now all a sudden its dying out any suggestions, i already checked spark plug wires(phatwires) and i run 93, it has to be the power commander,quick note it will idle fior a while when started but as soon as ya take off with it it will stall at stops

 

best thing to do is check if the pc is grounded correctly, check battery conn's, and then disconnect the pc and see if'n she'll run.

 

well thats definitly a start, i hope i dont haveto scrap the pc, ive been hearing alot of negatives about it

 

did you grease all the connectors on the pc?

 

I dunno about you guys but there is no grease in the instructions on install for the pcV,I will call fuelmoto tomorrow! It is warrentied for 2 years anything wrong they ship you a new one. Someone else had this same type problem posted less than a week ago the thread was called "my bike is F@$#^&%*D up or something along those lines.

 

Run it w/out the PCV and if the problem ceases to exist you'll know how to proceed.

 

yeah... this sounds kinda similar to my problem and the one mentioned a week ago or so... but my bike idles fine when started, but when slowing to a stop the bike died 3-4 times on the way to work one fine morning... that afternoon she was running great with no issues...

you may wanna check your codes (my bikes wasnt throwing any, but worth a shot)... you can search for how to do this and what those codes mean on here.

let us know what the fix was!

 

my bike idles fine from the start too, it doesnt stall in nuetral till after being ridden

 

Along with the above items to check, also check your Idle Air Control valve. They tend to get gummed up from the crank case vents. You can lean it with some trhottle body cleaner.
